Resume the right kind of work
Studio Home groups active work by the kind of project it belongs to. That helps you continue the same edit without remembering which folder or workspace you last used.
What to check first
- Recent projects when you were already editing a video.
- Recordings when the next step is reviewing takes or routing captured media.
- Caption jobs when you need to keep reviewing transcript text, styling captions, or exporting subtitles.
- Utilities when the previous session was a queue of files rather than a single edit.
Keep project context clean
Open the project from Studio Home, confirm the media still exists on disk, then continue in the workspace that owns the next action. If a project is missing media, reconnect or replace the source before exporting.
