What Studio Home is for
Studio Home is the first stop when you open Velocaption. It keeps the main app surfaces close together: recent projects, recordings, caption jobs, and utility entry points.
Use it when you are not sure whether the next step belongs in Recorder, Silence Remover, Captions Editor, or one of the batch utilities. You can start from a Velocaption recording, iPhone clips AirDropped to your Mac, a Finder folder, or a single video that only needs final captions and overlays.
Main areas
- Recent work: reopen projects you were already editing.
- Recordings: continue from captured scenes and takes.
- Caption jobs: return to caption work without hunting through folders.
- Utilities: start batch captions, audio extraction, Portrait Box, or noise cleanup for folders of files.
How to use it
- Open Velocaption and start from Studio Home.
- Pick the surface that matches the file or task in front of you.
- Return to Studio Home when you need to resume another project or start a different workflow.
