Review a Transcript Before Styling Captions

Review before you style

Transcript review is the correction pass between local transcription and visual styling. Use it before changing fonts, layouts, animations, or export settings.

What to review

  • Low-confidence words where Whisper was uncertain.
  • Names and product terms that local transcription may spell inconsistently.
  • Phrase breaks that affect how captions appear on screen.
  • Reading density when transcript text is too small or too large for a long review pass.
  1. Generate captions with the right language and model.
  2. Increase transcript text size if the session is long.
  3. Work through low-confidence words first.
  4. Fix repeated mistakes with find and replace.
  5. Split or merge phrases only after the words are correct.
