We’ve refreshed the Velocaption interface with the Electric Indigo color system for the macOS video editor. The update also tightened contrast and layout consistency across the app.
- Electric Indigo: A deep, reliable violet
oklch(0.6 0.22 266)serves as our new primary color, driving focus where it matters. - Sonic Cyan: A sharp accent

🐛 Fixed: Truncated Final Captions
We resolved a critical issue where the very last words of a video were sometimes cut off during AI transcription. This ensures 100% accuracy for your captions, right to the final frame.
- The Cause: Audio streams ending abruptly prevented the OpenAI Whisper model from effectively processing the final speech tokens, leading to missing text at the end of videos.
- The Fix: Our audio extraction engine now intelligently appends 1 second of silence to the processed audio stream using
apad. This gives the model the “breathing room” it needs to finalize the transcription perfectly, ensuring no word is left behind.
Other Improvements
- Caption Parity: Fixed a detailed issue where the Text Size in the Preview window did not match the final exported video. The Preview now correctly uses 1080p as the reference scale, ensuring what you see is exactly what you get when you export your viral clips.
