- Balanced Line Breaking: Captions now automatically balance their text across lines to avoid “orphans” and create a more professional look. This ensures your video captions look perfectly centered and readable, whether you’re creating content for TikTok, Reels, or YouTube Shorts on macOS.
- Transcript Editor 2.0: We’ve completely refactored the editor sidebar to provide a smoother video editing experience.
- Sticky Header: The toolbar and phrase length slider now stay visible while scrolling, making it easier to adjust your captioning settings on the fly.
- Premium Hints: Keyboard shortcuts are now tucked away in a clean tooltip, keeping the interface minimal and focused.
- Smoother Scrolling: Improved auto-scroll logic to keep the active segment in view without jumping, allowing for faster proofreading and editing.
🐛 Bug Fixes
- Preview Ghosting: Fixed an issue where text would overlap or “ghost” when resizing phrases in the preview, ensuring a pixel-perfect representation of your final video.
- Player Stability: Added safeguards to prevent the video player from getting stuck if a font fails to load, improving overall app reliability.
- Project Deletion: Fixed a bug where clicking the delete dialog’s background would accidentally open the project.
- Transcription Button: The “Start Transcription” button now correctly disables relative to the processing state, preventing duplicate transcription requests.
